However, this year the 47-year-old got the news that her family would be growing. “I just couldn’t believe it. I had been on the pill for 25 years and I got off. Then, eight days later I was pregnant,” said Guarino. She thought her pregnancy days were over, especially being in her late 40s. However, her doctor confirmed the news, making her his oldest expecting patient.
